Version 0.8.22005-12-19
new Qedo Version is available. This version contains improvement in compilation process. The generator2 project is merged into the qedo project (StreamContainer.sln). Many warnings at compilation time are removed as well. This version is based on the RC2 of MICO (like version 0.8.1).

Qedo Modeller2005-12-01
The source of Qedo Modeller is available inside the Qedo subversion now. The modeller is based on Eclipse and uses the EMF and GEF plugin. The Modeller is in an early stage and documentation for building and for using will be available soon. Meanwhile a screenshot of current version is available in the screenshots section.

Version 0.8.12005-11-27
New version of Qedo is available. It contains a couple of bug fixes and better support for the Container Portable Interceptors (COPI). The integration of OpenPMF is based on this COPI version. Furthermore, this release is based on MICO's 2.3.12 release candidate RC2, which brings in more stability. As soon as the final 2.3.12 of MICO is released a corresponding Qedo version will also be available.
It is the first time when a win32 binary version of qedo is available for downlowd. The only precondition for using this to develop components is an installed Visual Studio 2003 and the environment variable QEDO shall point to the installation directory.

Version 0.8.02005-05-19
A lot of changes have been applied to Qedo since the last version and some more major changes will be applied soon. For this reason I created a version 0.8.0 which will serve as a intermediate milestone. This version is not well tested but should be ok. We work with high pressure on the version 0.8.1 which should include support for current versions of mico, xerces, pthreads and wxwidgets. So stay tuned.
The 0.8.0 version can be checkout from the subversion directory tag name rel_0_8_0 or trunk revision 1837.

Move from CVS to SVN2004-11-08
The Qedo source repository has moved from a CVS server to a Subversion (SVN) server. The Subversion Server is also hosted by BerliOS and is to some extend an experimental service. Since Subversion is stable it is not a real risk to use it right now.
There were no hard reasons for this move but I thought it would be good opportunity to get used with it since I expect this to be the next generation of source management systems (at least for open source projects). If we encounter any problems with subversion CVS is still there.

QoS of the Month2004-09-27
In the next time I want to start a broad discussion about using the QoS extension of Qedo. This means, I want to give some examples of how to use it and I want to get some feedback from people who are interested in the area of non-functional properties, aspect orientation and QoS.
The newly created mailing list qedo-discuss shall be used for this purpose. Be invited to participate in any form you like (e.g. giving remarks, implementing examples creating new models). For more details follow the link qos otm in the left navigation bar.
